Creating a Business Friendly Culture In this increasingly competitive and mobile world, communities with a business friendly culture attract successful businesses. These innovative programs encourage the expansion of existing businesses, provide technical assistance to start-up businesses, link to investment capital, and proactively build a diverse and dynamic business base for the South Wood County and Town of Rome region. Industry Cluster Networks Industry clusters networks will be responsible for examining industry segments in search of local opportunities, business impediments and key issues in major and emerging industry segments. Cluster findings will be instrumental in shaping the region’s future business culture. The industry segments are: Agriculture; Financial Services; Small Business; New Industries (Technology, Research, Health Care); Downtown Revitalization; Education and Workforce Development; Tourism; and Paper and Forest Products.
